Three to four 4-year scholarships are awarded in the amount of $500 per semester to graduating seniors in the Katy I.S.D. FFA and Agriculture Science program who meet the requirements within the terms and conditions of the scholarship.

The total amount awarded over a 4-year period is $4000, and the amount of the scholarship per semester and number of scholarships awarded are subject to increase depending on the amount of contributions received within the year and the total number of students on the scholarship. The applications are turned in to your senior counselor on the last friday in March, and all applicants are interviewed by the L.D. Robinson Scholarship Board of Directors at a date agreed upon by the scholarship board and FFA advisors.

Scholarship recipients will be recognized at their high school senior awards ceremony and are presented a jacket with the official L. D. Robinson Scholarship logo, their name, the name of their high school, and year of graduation along with a letter designating the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
